As a user of this website, you acknowledge that your use of this e-commerce platform for any reason, including any transactions you make is subjected to our ‘Terms and Conditions’ herein (T&C) as mentioned below.

We kindly recommend that you read and comprehend the below listed T&C carefully prior to attaining any services of www.utckw.com. Print a copy if required, for your future reference.

We UTC, reserve the right to change any of the T&C at any given time or circumstances. Such changes will be deemed as effective, when posted on the website and it is your responsibility as a customer to read these updates upon your visit to www.utckw.com. By accessing, registering an account or using its services offered, you agree to be bound by its terms. If you do not agree with all or any of the terms, your sole recourse is to discontinue your use of www.utckw.com.

In order to access certain functions of the Service, including the ability to order and purchase products, you must register and create an account with your personal e-mail, secured by a password. Any Account so created is personal and exclusive to you and is non-transferable to any third party.

If you register and create an account, you are a “Registered User”. To be a Registered User, you must be 21 years of age and must provide true and accurate information (including your name, date of birth, contact number, e-mail address, credit/debit card details and other mandatory details if any) as requested during the account creation process. Also note, you are subjected to applicable law, as a parent or guardian of a minor aged between 18 to 21, you may permit such minor to use your account, on the basis that you remain fully liable for services attained. We may carry out further verifications of your background with any registered credit reference (or similar) agency and, if we are unable to verify your information, we may cancel your order.

By registering at and using www.utckw.com, you warrant that the information provided by you in the course of the registration process is true and accurate and you undertake to ensure that such information is kept updated. You would be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. In the event that you have any concerns regarding your account or become aware of any misuse, kindly inform us immediately.

1. As a Registered User, you have the rights to purchase products through www.utckw.com.
2. You agree to pay the full amount of the order submitted as described during the order process, including shipping costs or other charges that may apply to your order.
3. You agree to pay the full amount for the order placed as indicated during the order process, including shipping costs or other charges that may be applicable to your order.
4. Upon choosing and making payment for your product and after placing the order, you will receive an order confirmation on your registered email.
5. Actual products may vary in appearance from the images posted.
6. During operating hours, our representative will contact you on your registered phone or email address.
7. Once the payment has been received, we will schedule your order to be delivered within 48 hours.

Exact delivery time will depend on the accuracy of the address provided. We normally deliver the purchased products as soon as possible after receiving payment confirmation and we shall make every effort to deliver within the estimated delivery time, however, occasional delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances or forced majors.

Also, please note products ordered from www.utckw.com can be delivered only within Kuwait. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery addresses and any correction or wrong addresses would result in delays and possible delivery charges (for repeated delivery attempts).

Delivery to the following areas are scheduled for Thursdays and Saturdays only.

Mina Shuaiba, Sabah Al Ahmad, Al Julaia'a, Zour, Al Khiran, Al Wafrah, Al Nuwaiseeb, Abdaly, Kabd, Salmi, Bneider, Magwaa, Al Mitlaa, Al Dabaiaa, Saad Al Abdallah, Sabah Al Ahmad coast and all areas close to these regions.

• Product exchange/return is within 15 days from date of purchase on the condition that product is returned as per below and as per the regulation of Ministry of Commerce and Industry:
  1. Original invoice should be presented
  2. Electronics: Product in saleable condition along with accessories in sealed box, once product is installed no exchange or refund is applicable unless the product was faulty due to manufacturing defect.
  3. Clothing: Items must be in their original condition/packing, unused, unscented, unwashed and unaltered having the original tags attached.
  4. Household: Product should be in original packaging condition.
• There are sensitive products which are not subject for exchange as per Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as per below:
  1. Lingerie, Underwear and Swim Wear
  2. Cosmetics and Perfumes
  3. Fashion Accessories
  4. Household Accessories
  5. Personal Care Products
• Household accessories & Cosmetics products are not covered under warranty
• During Gifts/Coupons promotions and for any refund case, the given Gifts/Coupons should be returned with the initial condition.
• For Apparel returns, the customer should visit our nearest department stores located in Salmiya, Salhiya, Hawally, Fahaheel and Farwaniya (as per terms & conditions).
• If customer want to return the purchased products within 15 days after opening the carton, a deduction  will apply from 25%.
• In the event of returning the goods for any reason or canceling the order before delivery, the price shall be repaid to the customer in the same method of payment within 15 days from the return date.
• For Electronics aftersales service, the Customer should contact our hotline 1840011 or visit our service center in Shuweikh, Kuwait.
• Warranty terms of our Electronics products:
  1. Manufacturer warranty does not cover any misuse or damaged products, wrong installation by 3rd party or other repairs arranged outside the authorized service center, breakage (Including Glass, Ceramic & Crystal)
  2. Home delivery products are considered delivered and checked, once Customer or Household member sign on the delivery note, no claim of dent or damage shall be claimed after the signature. 
  3. Sold products can be exchanged or returned should have technical defect or defect which is not repairable, below 1 year: 10%, second year 30%, third year 40%, fourth year 50%, fifth year 100%, above 5 years will be studied case by case.
  4. Re-installation, labor charges and consumable materials for example, pipe kit, filters, remote controls, any type of hose, heads accessories, AC washing and Batteries are not covered in warranty (Charges will apply)
  5. During installation we provide 5 meters’ free pipe for the wall unit and 7.5 meters for cassette units In the event where additional piping is required, then a charge of 6 kd-per meter will be added.
  6. After completion of the warranty period, any repair requested will be charged according to the tasks performed or required.
• UTC Products warranty:
  1. Glem Gas free standing Cookers and Built in home appliances has 7 years’ comprehensive warranty except on glass parts.
  2. Startec free standing cookers has 1-year comprehensive warranty
  3. Startec built in home appliances has 7-years comprehensive warranty except glass parts.
  4. Algor, Thomson built in refrigerators and dishwashers has 7 years’ comprehensive warranty. 
  5. Harmony refrigerators & freezers has 7 years’ comprehensive warranty
  6. Westpoint refrigerators has 5 years Warranty on Compressor and 1year comprehensive warranty
  7. Westpoint Freezers has 5 years on compressor and 1 year’s comprehensive warranty.
  8. General AC’s has 5 years Warranty on Compressor and 1year comprehensive warranty.
  9. Chigo, TCL, Startec & West Point AC’s has 5 years Warranty on Compressor and 1year comprehensive warranty
  10. Paragon water dispenser & Toaster Ovens has 3 Years comprehensive Warranty
  11. Braun products has 2 years’ manufacturer’s warranty
  12. Sencor products has 2 years’ manufacturer’s warranty

• Any refund against Knet payments will be deposited to the account within seven working days.
• Any refund against Credit Card payments will be returned to the account within one month, subject to bank charges (if any).
