WARRANTY / RETURNS TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Product exchange/return is within 15 days from date of purchase on the condition that product is returned as per below and as per the regulation of Ministry of Commerce and Industry:
- Original invoice should be presented
- Electronics: Product in saleable condition along with accessories in sealed box, once product is installed no exchange or refund is applicable unless the product was faulty due to manufacturing defect.
- Clothing: Items must be in their original condition/packing, unused, unscented, unwashed and unaltered having the original tags attached.
- Household: Product should be in original packaging condition.
- There are sensitive products which are not subject for exchange as per Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as per below:
- Lingerie, Underwear and Swim Wear
- Cosmetics and Perfumes
- Fashion Accessories
- Household Accessories
- Personal Care Products
- Household accessories & Cosmetics products are not covered under warranty
- During Gifts/Coupons promotions and for any refund case, the given Gifts/Coupons should be returned with the initial condition.
- For Apparel returns, the customer should visit our nearest department stores located in Salmiya, Salhiya, Hawally, Fahaheel and Farwaniya (as per terms & conditions).
- If customer want to return the purchased products within 15 days after opening the carton, a deduction will apply from 25%.
- In the event of returning the goods for any reason or canceling the order before delivery, the price shall be repaid to the customer in the same method of payment within 15 days from the return date.
- For Electronics aftersales service, the Customer should contact our hotline 1840011 or visit our service center in Shuweikh, Kuwait.
- Warranty terms of our Electronics products:
- Manufacturer warranty does not cover any misuse or damaged products, wrong installation by 3rd party or other repairs arranged outside the authorized service center, breakage (Including Glass, Ceramic & Crystal)
- Home delivery products are considered delivered and checked, once Customer or Household member sign on the delivery note, no claim of dent or damage shall be claimed after the signature.
- Sold products can be exchanged or returned should have technical defect or defect which is not repairable, below 1 year: 10%, second year 30%, third year 40%, fourth year 50%, fifth year 100%, above 5 years will be studied case by case.
- Re-installation, labor charges and consumable materials for example, pipe kit, filters, remote controls, any type of hose, heads accessories, AC washing and Batteries are not covered in warranty (Charges will apply)
- After completion of the warranty period, any repair requested will be charged according to the tasks performed or required.
- UTC Products warranty:
- Glem Gas free standing Cookers and Built in home appliances has 7 years’ comprehensive warranty except on glass parts.
- Startec free standing cookers has 1-year comprehensive warranty
- Startec built in home appliances has 7-years comprehensive warranty except glass parts.
- Algor, Thomson built in refrigerators and dishwashers has 7 years’ comprehensive warranty.
- Harmony refrigerators & freezers has 7 years’ comprehensive warranty
- Westpoint refrigerators has 1 year comprehensive warranty and 5 years on compressor
- Westpoint Freezers has 5 years on compressor and 1 year comprehensive warranty.
- General AC’s has 1 year comprehensive warranty and 5 years on compressor.
- Chigo, TCL, West Point AC’s has 1 year comprehensive warranty and 5 years on compressor
- Paragon water dispenser & Toaster Ovens has 3 Years comprehensive Warranty.
- Braun products have a 2-years manufacturer’s warranty.
- Sencor products have a 2-years manufacturer’s warranty.
RETURN CONDITIONS
- Any refund against Knet payments will be deposited to the account within seven working days.
- Any refund against Credit Card payments will be returned to the account within one month, subject to bank charges (if any).
